Maybe you’ve inherited a sideboard, dining table or even a grandfather clock that you’d love to use one day but simply doesn’t fit in your current house. Maybe you’re renting and gradually accumulating bargain furniture for when you own your own home. There are lots of good reasons to store furniture, but it can be hard to find somewhere suitable to store it.

Even if you can get a bulky item of furniture up through a loft hatch without damage, it’s nowhere near as easy as taking it to self storage (MORE! stores have lifts to all floors). In any case, lofts, garages or sheds – which can have extremes of temperature and moisture – are not the best environments to store furniture.
